... because I was accepted to graduate school at the University of New Haven (yay!) and will be relocating to either New Haven, CT or their satellite campus in Livermore, CA in the near future.

So... I'm just looking for folks who can tell me about either place, as I've lived in MO my entire life. The closest I've ever come to either place is NYC and Palos Verdes, respectively. Plus, it'd just be neat to already "know" someone whom I share a common interest with when I get there.
